2026 Proposed Apartment/Loft & Hotel Guidelines (2026-27)

On May 7, 2026, the NYC Rent Guidelines Board adopted proposed lease guidelines for rent stabilized apartments, lofts and hotels. The proposed guidelines for rent stabilized apartments, lofts, and hotel units effective between 10/1/2026 and 9/30/2027 can be found in the 2026 Notice of Public Hearings and Opportunity to Comment on Proposed Rules. The Public Notice includes proposed guidelines approved at the most recent preliminary vote; details of the public hearings; and information on how to comment on the proposed guidelines.
