COVID-19 protocols at Cooper Union require the following:

  • No one under the age of five will be permitted.
  • All visitors must show proof of both COVID-19 vaccination and at least one booster shot. Acceptable vaccination proof includes either a physical or virtual copy of the CDC vaccination card or the Excelsior (or any other government-sponsored) app.
  • All visitors must show a government-issued photo ID that matches the name on the proof of vaccination. Acceptable government-issued photo ID includes a passport, driver’s license, non-driver ID, IDNYC or Access-A-Ride identifications.
  • Masks must be worn at all times while indoors. Acceptable masks: KN95, N95, KF94, or surgical. Cloth masks alone are not permitted, but may be worn as a second layer over a disposable surgical mask. Complimentary surgical masks will be available on-site.
